Cold and blowy….

….but as we are some of the lucky ones and haven’t had much of the white stuff – so far anyway – I actually took a risk and put some washing out.  No to be fair my OH actually put it on the line for me and brought it in but it did actually dry.   Mind you it was blowing nearly horizontal so it wasn’t surprising it dried.

This evening I have been to town for a class with the talented Suzie.   There was just 6 of us there but we have all had a good laugh and actually managed to finish in the alloted time.   Suezie has promised to put the project on her blog in the next day or two and I will be making more of the simple Paper bag pockets when I pick up some more of the pockets from YTOC in the next day or two.   ( Kay if you’re reading this can you put half a dozen aside for me please?).

I thought I would show some of the projects I have made for the fair which is this Sunday.

Decorated Chocolate Bars

These are just bars of Cadbury’s chocolate bars which I have decorated up with paper and embellishments.   I am quite proud of the reindeer as I couldn’t find red noses but managed to get some bobble tape in brown.    I cut off the ‘bobbles’ and coloured them with my Promarkers.   I even fashioned the antlers template before cutting out them out.   There are only 6 of each – I haven’t gone into massive production of anything for this fair as I would rather sell what I ‘ve got than have a load of things over.   The idea for these decorated bars can be found over at this blog.   There are some great ideas for little gifts and ways of doing Christmas cheaply.   Helen is a very talented lady.

Keep safe in the snow, people and enjoy the extra crafting time if you are snowed in.
